Vehicle Wires are Thinner than the Wires of the Circuit Protected Taillight Converter
Question:
The wires for the tail lights and turn signals on my 2005 VW Passat look smaller then the wires on the 118175 converter. Am I going to over load the wiring in the car?

Expert Reply:
It is not uncommon for the wires on your vehicle to be a little bit thinner than the wires of the Circuit Protected Taillight Converter with 4-Pole End, part # 119178. As long as you are tapping into the correct turn signals and brake and running lights, you should not have any problems. The circuit protected converter will protect your vehicles sensitive wiring and circuitry.
