Which 7-Way Trailer Plug has the Largest Gauge Wires
Question:
Is there a 7 blade plug with all wires 10 gauge?

Helpful Expert Reply:
I have a solution for you but all of the trailer end 7-way connectors have the same wiring configuration.
4-14 gauge wires for stop/turn left, stop/turn right, running lights and reverse signal
1-12 gauge wire for the brake signal
2-10 gauge wires for the 12 volt power and ground.
These gauges are chosen based off of the demands on each one. And I have never ran into an issue with overloading one of the 14 gauge circuits. But for your application if it is different then you can easily use the Optronics 7-Way Round RV Style Trailer Connector part # A7WCB and 10 Gauge Primary Wire part # 10-1-1 . This will allow you to make a trailer end connector with all 7 of the leads 10 gauge.
