Hitch and Bike Rack Recommendation for a 2011 Honda Accord
Question:
I bought a 2011 honda accord. Is the larger receiver a better way to go for weight and vibration?

The main advantages a 2 inch receiver opening has over a 1-1/4 inch opening is that the 2 inch will be stronger, and more accessories like bike racks and cargo carriers are built for 2 inch hitches than 1-1/4 inch hitches.
If their are options for both style hitches for a vehicle we will almost always recommend going with the 2 inch hitch due to the increased towing capacities and versatility. Vibration is not an issue that appears more on one size of hitch over the other.
With that being said, there are only 1-1/4 inch hitches available for your vehicle. The Curt Hitch # C11496 that Jeff recommended for you previously would be a good choice for you to carry the Swagman XTC-2 # S64670 rack that you referenced. This rack comes with an anti-rattle device built into the hitch pin also. Check out the installation instructions and review video I attached for this product for you to check out.
