Best Underbed Fifth Wheel Hitch Recommendation for 2019 Chevy Silverado Short Bed
Question:
What hitch and mounting brackets can I use ? I am towing a Montana 3400RL weighing somewhere around 14000 lbs.

Helpful Expert Reply:
Since your Montana 3400RL has an extended pin box and a tapered nose designed for short bed clearance you could get away with using a fixed hitch instead of a slider and still have the clearance needed to make tight turns. So for an under bed hitch setup for your 2019 Chevy Silverado short bed I'd recommend the B and W Companion hitch part # BWRVK3500 which is what most consider to be the best fifth wheel hitch available. It's made in the USA, very reliable and well-built, very easy to use, and also breaks down easily into smaller sections to help with installing and removing.
To install this in the bed of your truck all you'd need is the correct rail kit part # BWGNRK1016 which gives you the cleanest truck bed when not towing and also doubles as a gooseneck hitch. I attached an install video for this for you to check out as well.
