According to Draw-Tite, their # 65076 Front Mounted Receiver is a fit for all models of the 2020 Ford F-250. I've provided a photo showing how the front receiver sits on the truck.

Actually on brake magnets for trailers either wire can be used as the power or the ground so the colors don't really mean anything. Most likely the magnet manufacturer just put what ever color was most convenient on your trailer.

Most likely the new axle has self-adjusting brakes which when new are known for feeling pretty weak. The good news is that you can keep applying them over and over while the trailer is traveling and they will tighten and get more sensitive feeling.
