Adarac Pro Series Truck Rack Height And Canoe Carrier Options
Question:
What is the height of this rack? Im interested in purchasing it, however Im concerned about the height of it above the cab or lack there of. I want to transport a canoe for camping, but looking at the pictures of the rack, it looks like the height is not enough to give clearance for the bow/front of the canoe over the roof of a truck. If I could get the height dimensions that would help greatly in determining if this rack will work for a canoe. Thanks!

Per the manufacturer, the Adarac Pro Series Custom Truck Bed Ladder Rack # A4000964 has the following height dimensions.
"Height above the box rail: 24 in. for mid-size, 26 in. for full size and 27 in. for Super Duty trucks. Load dividers sit an additional 3 in. above cross bars. Cross bars are 72 in. L x 1 1/2 in. W x 1 1/2 in. H"
Additional options to consider if the sole purpose here is to transport your canoe include the Rhino-Rack T-Load Hitch Mounted Load Assist and Support Bar for 2" Hitches - 49" Long # RTL002 or Erickson Big Bed Junior Load Extender for Truck Bed or Roof # EM07605 to provide a couple of different carrier design options.
