2006 keystone springdale travel trailer - 6400lbs. empty weight. What is the # of sidewall and tread area plies on the part #am1st96?

Sometimes the number of plies is indicated on the tire sidewall. in this case, the only ply information that is on this tire is that it has an 8 ply rating and that they are nylon. because of the strength of today's materials, there may not be 8 plies. This is because the materials used today can carry more weight and less plies are needed.
The ply count does not actually matter. You want to go by the load capacity of a tire. For # AM1ST96 the capacity is 2,540 pounds at 65 psi. Trailer tires must always be inflated to the maximum psi as indicated on the tire for best performance and longest life. I have included a link to our trailer tire FAQ article for you.
