Anti-Rattle Locking Pin VS. U-Bolt Style Anti-Rattle
Question:
I would like to know which would be better for a anti rattle hitch. There are the ubolt ones with a plate and then I saw there are locking pins to secure your hitch with anti rattle from uhaul. Does one work better then the other and stay tight? I am leaning towards the locking pin so it will serve two purposes but would like your expert opinion.

It sounds like you would like to know the difference between an anti-rattle locking pin like part # 63232 and an U-bolt style anti-rattle like part # RM-061 and to be honest they both work well. However, the anti-rattle locking pin does require an accessory with a hollow shank or a ball mount with a hollow shank for the components of the pin to fit inside properly. An anti-rattle locking pin does help take away the rattling you may hear with an accessory or ball mount inside the hitch by tightening up the connection.
A U-bolt style anti-rattle like part # RM-061 tightens up the connection between the ball mount or accessory shank and the hitch by tightening around the shank and the outside collar of the hitch. This works well to eliminate the rattle by tightening up the connection but also does help with wobble if you are using an accessory that can easily bounce around like a bike rack or cargo carrier. The locking pin does work fine to help the rattle on it's own so I would start with that if I were you but it wouldn't hurt to use both especially if you have a bike rack or cargo carrier.
