Is Fascia Trimming Required to Install Draw-Tite Class III 87615 Hitch 2011 Toyota Highlander
Question:
Is there fascia trimming required to install this on a 2011 Toyota Highlander? I found a FAQ item for trimming the underbody panel for a 2008 Highlander is the process the same for the 2011?

When the Draw-Tite Class III receiver is installed on the 2011 Highlander, there will be no need to trim the fascia under the rear bumper. The top of the receiver tube will sit just below the bottom edge of the fascia.
Some Highlander models are equipped with under body appearance panels, which need to be removed in order to install the hitch. The appearance panel on the passenger side can be reinstalled if you desire, but the drivers side panel will remain off. The existing tow hooks will also need to be removed.
