From the research I did, you will need a transmission lube pump or drive shaft disconnect to flat tow the 2-wheel drive model. For the all wheel drive model you will have to use a transmission lube pump to flat tow. Be sure to consult your owners manual for the proper towing procedure and anything else that may be needed.
Once you have determined what you need for your model, you will need compatible base plates to go with the tow bar. You can use the Roadmaster XL base plates, # 3109-1. The removable arms make the base plates virtually invisible when not towing the vehicle.
For safety cables, use straight cables # RM-645, and feed them through the safety cable guide channels on the tow bar.
You will also need a lighting solution for the vehicle. If you will not be towing the vehicle very often, a magnetic kit like # RM-2120 would be the way to go.
Most states now require supplemental braking in the vehicle being towed. The easiest system to set up and sue is the Even Brake # RM-9400. This is a proportional system that applies the vehicle brakes in proportion to how much the towing vehicle is braking. This method reduces wear and tear on both vehicles and is the safest way to stop.
