Will the Spare Tire on a 2012 Kia Sorento be Blocked by Installing Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch 75684
Question:
Im looking at a hitch for a 2012 Kia Sorento. From the online photos, it looks like the trailer hitch partially blocks the spare tire mounted underneath the car. Will there be a problem accessing the spare tire after the hitch is installed?

With Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 75684 installed, the spare tire can still be removed and replaced. Instead of it just dropping straight down, you would need to angle it down some and forward towards the front of the vehicle to remove/replace it. I have included links to the instructions and a video showing the installation for you.
If you plan on doing some towing, I recommend the etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts, 2 balls, a hitch pin with clip, and a carrying bag. For trailer wiring, if you have a V6 model WITH factory tow prep package, use # C56332. For 4-cylinder models and models without the tow prep package, use # 118506. I have included links to the wiring instructions as well.
