Is The Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch For a 2020 Subaru Crosstrek Hidden Like The Curt Hitch

I am looking at the curt Class III and draw-tite hitch Class III for 2019 Subaru Crosstrek. Are they both hidden ? I want a concealed cross tube

Both the Draw-Tite and Curt hitches are a great choice for the 2019 Subaru Crosstrek however the Draw-Tite brand does not have a concealed cross tube hitch available at this time.

The Curt Class III hitch part # C13382 for the Subaru Crosstrek is designed so that the cross tube is not visible once installed. The only part of the hitch that is visible is the receiver. I have attached a video for your reference.

If you plan on doing some towing you may consider the etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag. If you are not sure how much rise/drop you may need in a ball mount to tow your trailer level, I recommend to take a look at the helpful article I have attached about how to figure the amount of rise or drop you may need.

You may also need wiring if you plan on towing a trailer with lights, I recommend Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # 118467 which will plug into the rear cargo area. I have attached a video of this for your reference as well.
