Expert Reply:
The maximum towing capacity for Curt Class III Trailer Hitch, # C13067, is 4,000 lbs. The maximum tongue weight capacity is 400 lbs. Keep in mind, these are the maximum capacities for the hitch. It is important for you to check your owners manual to verify the actual towing capacities of your vehicle because they could be different.
If you plan on doing some towing, then you will also want a wiring harness, # C56329, and a ball mount, hitch ball and a pin and clip. We offer the etrailer.com Ball Mount Kit, # 989900, that includes the most common size ball mounts, two 2 inch hitch balls, a pin and clip and a storage bag. I have also attached a help article that explains how to determine the correct ball mount for your towing setup.
