Can You Use a Bumper Hitch for Bike Rack On a Keystone Passport Trailer
Question:
Seeing several posts to avoid putting anything on the travel trailer bumper but yet there are parts out there to do so. What bumper mount hitch and 2 bike rack do you recommend for a bumper mount woelery free installation? Was looking at this part. Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks.

It is possible to use the rear bumper on a travel trailer to mount a trailer hitch but each trailer manufacturer will have their say on if this is advised or not and if so how much weight can be carried. The Curt RV Bumper 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver part # E-100 is an excellent option for this assuming the trailer manufacturer gives the go-ahead but if not we also have the Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 13703.
Then for a two-bike rack, I recommend the Kuat Transfer V2 # KU84FR which is a wheel mount (no fenders) or the Swagman Dispatch part # S44FR which is a frame mount. These bike racks are both designed especially for use on travel trailers so there will be no issues. Please note, most bike racks are not rated for use on travel trailers due to the excess movement.
