Can I Re-Position the Clamps Inside a Thule Motion XT?
Question:
I have an existing rack installed in the factory holes but it locks like I need to move the rear crossbar forward in order to avoid crushing the antenna. Is there a way to change the location of the rack or am I stuck with dealing with only the factory install points?

I'm not completely familiar with the factory roof racks that came on Honda vehicles, but you may not be able to adjust the crossbars; you'll want to have a look at where they are mounted on the raised side rails and see if there is some sort of screw that can be unscrewed and would allow you to reposition them to your desired spots. If you find out that you're not able to move them around and you're stuck with the factory install points on the roof rack, there is still a way to work around this.
The clamps on your Thule Motion XT # TH6357B can be moved around to accommodate you and help avoid the rear antenna on your Honda CR-V, and can be adjusted to fit on crossbars between 23" and 33" apart. In this case, you'll want to adjust them back a few inches to gain the correct clearance on your vehicle and you'll want to make sure that there is still at least 51" of cargo box from the front bar to the rear of the cargo box.
I've linked one of our review videos that shows the process of installing the clamps on the Motion XT that you can have a look at; you can fast forward to about 3:30 into the video to see how the clamps are installed and use that as a reference for any adjustments.
