The Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Backup Camera System part # FOS05TASF can function as either an observation system or a back-up system. The function of the system will be dependent on where it receives power from. If the system receives power from the running light circuit it will function as an observation system but if the system receives power from the reverse light circuit then it will function as a back-up system. Therefore, if you have the system functioning as a back-up system and need it to function as an observation system all you need to do is pull power from the running light circuit instead of the reverse light circuit.
Please note, the above Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Backup Camera System will accept additional cameras such as the Marker Light RV Side Cameras w/ Night Vision for Furrion Vision S Systems part # FCE48TASL if you choose and these also function as an observation system.
