Can I Add Lights To Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE
Question:
I purchased this rack from you folks this past summer and I love it. I have to cover my 2 ebikes when I haul them to keep the electronics and displays dry. When I use it on my pickup the tail lights are far enough apart to still be seen. When on our SUV it blocks most of the tail lights. We have a long trip with our SUV coming and I dont want to be a traffic hazard. Do you know of a light kits that will interface with this bike rack and plug into my trailer lights? If the only option is magnetic mount trailer lights I have a set of them already. But that leaves me putting them up on top of the rear of our rig. I was hopping for something a little cleaner looking. The rack has a reflector on the rear that comes off and its made of 2inch x 2inch tubing with a whole already drilled through the side of the tubing in the rear it looks like something can be added to the rear.. So I wondering if something is made that would clip in there and plug into the trailer lights?

The only real way to add lights to the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE part # HLY74FR is to add mounting brackets part # BK70BB with the LED light kit part # 98174LED. This light kit plugs into the 4-way that you mention because they are designed to added to cargo carriers. To add the bracket you will need self tapping screws part # FA1131822. This is the only way to add lights besides the magnetic lights you referenced. You do want to keep in mind that drilling into the bike rack with screws will void the warranty so it's ultimately up to you if you wan't to go that route.
