Can Flow Max LC689052 RV Fresh Water Pump Be Mounted Upside Down
Question:
Can you reverse the head or mount to change direction of waterflow
asked by: Bobby M
Helpful Expert Reply:
The Flow Max RV Fresh Water Pump # LC689052 may be mounted in any position, which allows you to control the water flow direction as you wanted by mounting it upside down. That being said, if the pump is mounted vertically, the pump head should be in the down position to avoid leakage into the motor casing during a malfunction.
The head is attached to the motor via long screws which would not line up unless assembled as originally intended.
I have attached a link to the installation instructions at the bottom of the page for you as well.
