Does Bumper Need to be Cut to Install Draw-Tite Hitch on 2019 Subaru Crosstrek

Question:

Hello. I think i'm going to go with the Draw-Tite 76209 for my 2019 Subaru Crosstrek. I see the pictures and the hitch is pretty close to the bumper (which is good!) but i'm wondering if i need to cut the bumper at all like with a lot of other hitches i see for installation. I'd rather not cut this new vheicle if possible....Thanks!

I have good news!

The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76209 that you referenced is going to be a complete bolt-on installation and it doesn't require any kind of cutting or trimming with regards to the bumper fascia. The only step outside of actually lining up the hitch to the frame and tightening the hardware is that you will need to temporarily lower the exhaust so the hitch can get into place.

I have attached an installation video that you can also use for reference. I have also added an image from the underside of the 19 Crosstrek with the hitch mounted so you can see exactly how it fits beneath the bumper.
