Best Replacement Leaf Springs for 7K Axle That Measures 25-1/2 Long
Question:
As near as I can measure with the spring off my trailer , the eye-to-eye measurement is 25.5 inches. The spring is broken with the top leaf separated and the 2nd from top leaf is missing, broken off at the leaf stack. Is this slight difference in eye-to-eye distance within tolerance? I cannot find a 25.5 inch spring and the one from my trailer looks like it may be flattened. NOTE: the opposite side spring is also almost broken with the second leaf bent.

The 6-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 7,000-lb Trailer Axles part # e64SR is indeed a suitable replacement. As you mentioned, leaf springs will flatten out over time therefore the new leaf spring you use to replace the old one will likely be shorter. The old length of 25-1/2" can absolutely be replaced with a new length of 24-7/8" no problem. If you need new shackle bolts, we have the Shackle Bolt with Locknut for Double-Eye Springs part # 166081.
