The Stromberg Carlson Leveling Scissor Jack Set # JSC-24 will do a really good job of helping to stabilize your boat trailer for the winter and they will be easier to operate than jack stands. It is important to note though that stabilizer scissor jacks like these are only meant to help keep your boat trailer stable and aren't designed to lift the trailer at all. If you need to raise your trailer or you'd like to keep your trailer tires lifted for the off-season (which is recommended for storage) you will need to use jack stands like part # PTW41021.
