Does the Curt Hitch C12115 for a 2016 Chevrolet Malibu Limited LTZ Require Cutting or Drilling
Question:
Hi. I have a 2016 Chevy Malibu LTZ - but since it is a company car, so I am limited in modifying it. I can bolt a hitch on, and remove it when I am done, but I can not cut the facia or change the car. Will this hitch just bolt on or do I have to make other modifications to make it fit? Just want to use it for bikes. Thanks.

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C12115 is a 100% bolt-on fit for your 2016 Chevrolet Malibu Limited (8th Gen 2013-2016) LTZ therefore, you will not have to do any cutting or drilling. The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver fits other models like the Impala, XTS, and Lacrosse which do require modifications but that is not the case for the Malibu. This hitch will work just fine for pretty much any bike rack as well so long as it has a 1-1/4" shank.
I have attached an install video and photo for you.
