Do Trailer Taillights Light Up When Vehicle Presses Brake Pedal

Pardon, the silly question. Are trailer brake lights supposed to be on like car brake lights and light up more when you push on the brake?

Yes, trailer brake lights are supposed to light up brighter when the tow vehicle applies the brakes. They are designed to work just like a vehicle's taillights that have the brake lights and the running lights on the same circuit.
If you check out the review video link I attached you can see how a very standard trailer taillight # ST8RB lights up with the running lights and the stop/turn signal.
