There is an adapter that you'll need in order to mount the Thule Compass Kayak and SUP Carrier w/ Tie-Downs # TH890000 to a Thule Xsporter Pro Ladder Rack # TH500XT (Silver) or # TH500XTB (Black), though not the Xadapt3 you mentioned.
Instead, to mount the Compass to the Xsporter you are going to need the Thule Adapter Kit THXADAPT13.
