Brake Controller Install Harness for 2019 Toyota Tacoma to Install Prodigy Controller  

Question:

I traded in my 2015 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport for a 2019 TRD Sport. I thought I could reuse my trailer brake controller, so I unplugged the old one, thinking I could plug it in and connect the ground wire on the new truck. I appears the 2019 has a different plug configuration for the 2019.. What do I need to do?

The correct brake controller install harness you need is the part # 3031-P for a Tekonsha controller like the very popular P3 # 90195. The harness you would have had in a 2015 Tacoma would have been the 3040-P which is different.
