Does Drain Hole In Bottom of Brophy D-Ring Tie Down Anchor w Backing Plate Prevent Corrosion
Question:
In view of the fact that the recessed D ring has a drain hole in the bottom, it seems that any hole that doesnt allow for drainage only encourages rot. Do you have any recommendations on that subject?

The drain hole that is in the bottom of the Brophy D-Ring Tie Down Anchor w Backing Plate # RR5K is designed to prevent water from accumulating in the assembly to prevent rust. I am not sure about what you meant about other holes in the kit, but this is galvanized which does allow it to be very corrosion resistant.
I attached a review video for this for you to check out as well.
