How to Determine What Bearing Buddies Fit on Trailer
Question:
I have this RV and the dealer is telling me they need to repack the bearings $300+. I’ve done this and it’s a mess. I know the Bearing Buddy can make it way easier. Wondering if these would work on my trailer? It’s a dual axle. I think they are 7500# axles, but would have to confirm. Can you tell me if these would work and how to verify the size of Bearing Buddy if they will work?

It is really easy to determine which Bearing Buddies are the correct fit for your trailer, though we have no way to confirm a fit on any specific make or model. For you to confirm the right Bearing Buddies all you need to do is measure the hub bores on your trailer's hubs using Digital Caliper # PTW80157 and match the hub bore diameter to the correct Bearing Buddies.
For example, the Bearing Buddy Bearing Protectors - Model 2047 # BB2047 you referenced will fit a hub bore diameter of 2.047 inches while the Bearing Buddy Bearing Protectors - Model 2441 # BB2441 fit a hub bore with a diameter of 2.441 inches.
I've added a link to our selection of Bearing Buddies for you to check out when you find the measurement or you can let me know what measurement you get and I'd be happy to find the right one for you.
