Expert Reply:
I recommend a frame-mount hitch for your 2014 Coachmen Chapparel 5th wheel because this type will give you a higher capacity than a bumper-mount type. Frame-mount RV hitches from Curt and others appear on the page I linked for you.
You'll want to measure your trailer's frame width to find the best match and also take note of whether there will be clearance for the receiver tube at the trailer's rear trim. I also suggest checking with Coachmen using your trailer's VIN to confirm the trailer's towing capacity.
Sometimes a hitch with drop is needed to clear such trim parts, such as Curt # C13701 which fits frame widths from 18 to 51-inches; this hitch has a receiver that extends down by 2-inches so that it can clear other parts on the RV. This hitch can be welded on or bolted on and still give you the same 5K towing capacity.
