Lighter Weight Hitch Carrier with Ramp for Carrying Mobility Scooter

Question:

I’ve got a 2017 Subaru Outback 2.5i Premium with an EcoHitch with a 2” receiver. The maximum tongue Weight is 200 lbs. I need to carry a Pride GoGo Sport mobility scooter that weighs around 121 lbs. I also need the carrier to have a folding ramp.

This carrier weighs a total of 77 lbs which is slightly lighter than the other options, fits your 2 inch trailer hitch, and comes with a ramp like you need as well. Your 121 pounds added to the 77 pounds of this scooter puts you at 198 pounds so you are good to go with this one. Since you are so close to your limit, you could consider a support strap # 18050 to support your load. It's a good idea, but not required.
