Troubleshooting Brake Controller that Stopped Activating Trailer Brakes
Question:
Was coming back from a 300 mile trip. 40 miles of stop and go you would Hate it in a car even, got off main road and could belly stop. Trailer not breaking at all but the light on the break switch activates nothing by hand activating weather home now

Sounds like the brake controller has lost it's connection to the trailer through the brake output circuit. Typically this issue is due to corrosion on the output circuit of the trailer connectors. Try cleaning all of the pins on your 7-way with sandpaper to see if that allows the connection to be made again.
