No Power To Trailer Running Light Pin on Connector for a 2013 Toyota Tundra

Question:

I have the 4 flat and 7 round trailer light adapters on my pickup. The running light wire no longer works in either side. Flashers’ turn signals and break lights work. The adapter has two pig tails that hook together with the light adapters just under the bed. Is there a fix or do I need a new double plug adapter? If new what is the part number. I cannot locate a new adapter that will fit my truck.

If you have power entering the running light wire just behind the trailer connector but not transferring though the plug to the running light pin then the trailer connector will need to be replaced for which you will want to use the 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Socket part # HM40975.

If you don't have power on the running light wire just behind the trailer connector you most likely have a blown fuse so you need to check the under hood fuse box on your 2013 Toyota Tundra.
