Replacement Hub and Bearing Buddy for 1 inch Spindles with 5 on 4-1/2 Inch Bolt Pattern
Question:
Looking for a super lube 5 on 4.5 hub for 1 spindle Im looking for a super lube 5 on 4.5inch hub for a 1inch spindle. My spindle is a regular, non-super lube spindle, so Im looking for the hub to have a zerk fitting that gives the same functionality. From what I can tell, none of your hubs have the zerk fitting, but just the special dust cap.

Since you have a 1 inch spindle, you will want the Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 2,000-lb Axles - 8" to 12" Wheels - 5 on 4-1/2 # AKIHUB-545-2-1K and then you will want the Bearing Buddy Grease caps that have the grease zerk. For those caps I recommend the Chrome # BB1980A or Stainless Steel # BB1980A-SS. These grease caps are spring loaded to help you get the right amount of grease and make sure the spindle and bearings are well maintained. Unfortunately that fitting correctly means you will have the cover instead of a standard grease cap or even an EZ-Lube grease cap, but the function is exceptional.
