What is Ramp Angle of Flint Hill Goods 30x50 Wheelchair Carrier w/ 48 Long Ramp in Full Size Truck
Question:
Looking for a carrier for a mobile scooter to be used with a F150 4x4 and wondered if the slope would be too much for the scooter to be driven on given that the hitch is higher. The Item # would seem to meet my needs, if slope is not too great. Thanks in advance for your assistance,

We had the chance to install the Flint Hill Goods 30x50 Wheelchair Carrier w/ 48" Long Ramp # FHG77ZR on a similar size truck as your F-150 and we found that the 48-inch-long ramp made the incline very steep.
I would encourage you to instead take a look at the 29x49 Aluminum Flint Hill Goods Wheelchair carrier # FHG69ZR. The # FHG69ZR has a 60 inch ramp that should work for you. I attached a picture that shows an older, discontinued, carrier with a 60" ramp installed on a similar sized Silverado to show you how steep it would be with the 60" ramp. This shows you that you definitely would not want a ramp that is 12 inches shorter than this one like the # FHG77ZR would have.
