What Size Thread Tap Is Needed To Clean the Trailer Hitch Weld Nuts on a 2011 Kia Sorento
Question:
Kia 2011 Sorento sx weld nuts rusted pretty badly on 2 of them. What size tap do I need? Thanks

The weld nuts inside your frame are M10 x 1.25" which means you can use the tap included with the 10 mm x 1.25 Tap and 8.8 mm Drill Bit to clean them. When doing the above you will want to be very careful and only use hand tools as it will be super easy to cross thread the weld nut.
