Trailer Hitch Recommendation for a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix to Carry a Scooter

Have a 2006 gran prix pontiac is there any way I can install a class II hitch so I can have a 300lb tongue weight. I need to haul a carry and scooter. Thanks

If you have the base model (SE) 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix, the Class II trailer hitch with the highest tongue weight capacity is the Curt hitch # C12199 that you have referenced. It has a tongue weight capacity of 350 pounds. But, if the car has a lower capacity, you must go by that. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you.

But for Curt, for any non-trailer load you must use a stabilization strap, # 18050, for the Curt warranty requirements.
