The first step is to check the ground on the Curt Wiring Harness part # C56332 for the 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe with factory tow package. The ground may not be strong enough to carry the amperage. You want to make sure the ground is attached to a clean metal surface. You also want to make sure you inserted the fuse into the fuse holder after you made your connections with the wiring in the vehicle.

It sounds like you have checked the power at the 4-way plug with a circuit tester like part # PTW2992 and you do not have power from the green right turn circuit on the connector when you activate the right turn blinker in the vehicle.

If this is true, check the green wire coming from the black converter box on the wiring harness while someone activates the right turn blinker in the vehicle. If you have power going into the black converter box and not coming from the trailer connector then the converter is defective and the wiring harness needs to be replaced.

If you do not have power going into the converter box, you may want to check your connections again in the vehicle. Make sure the connectors to the vehicle wiring harness are fully seated and free of corrosion or damage. If does sound like you have a classic ground issue though.
