The blunt cut wires on your 2019 Ford Ranger are only found on the trucks with the factory 4 way. There are 3 wires;blue, yellow with red tracer line and white with purple tracer line. You will need to test each wire prior to installing using a circuit tester like # PTW2992. One will be constant power, one will be the brake output only will see power when power is added from the brake controller or if you have a battery connected to the 5 o'clock pin on a 7-way, and the other will only have power when the brake pedal is applied. You will need to use the circuit breaker to determine the functions.
Then you can hardwire the Brake controller like the Redarc Tow Pro Elite # 331-EBRH-ACCV2. The ground will connect to an already present ground bolt on your vehicle. This is a great brake controller that will look like a factory option. Unfortunately we don't have any videos yet on this product being installed. The three wires should be on the driver's side under the dash near the side kick panel.
If you can't find these wires, then I instead recommend using the Curt Echo # C51180 along with the wiring kit # ETBC7L. This combination won't use any wiring inside your cab but will connect to your factory 4-way and then get the 12V power from the battery directly. This will give you power for your Echo brake controller and won't require any further wiring.
