Where To Plug In Wiring Harness on 2017 Subaru Outback Wagon That Has OEM Backup Sensors
Question:
My car has the backup sensors in the bumper. I saw that someone else asked about this and the answer included a picture, which Im attaching. What I cant tell is if the kit plugs into a different connector than the one shown in the installation video? If so, how do I distinguish the two connectors?

The diagram is trying to show that if your 2017 Subaru Outback Wagon has OEM backup sensors then they will be plugged into the vehicle wiring harness plug that you would normally plug the Tekonsha wiring harness part # 118467 into.
If you find the vehicle wiring harness and realize that it's already occupied by the backup sensor harness then follow the backup sensor harness up behind the trim of the vehicle in the cargo area like shown on the photo. The other side of the backup sensor harness has a plug on the end to accept the Tekonsha trailer wiring harness.
