Solutions for Needing New Spindle that Had Hub Installed with Bearing Numbers L44649

Question:

I have a small boat trailer that has not been used for a long time. The bearings are quite rusted and the hub is a Dexter 8-529 and the bearings are a L44649. Im able to get the hubs off but the inner race on one hub is rusted onto the spindle. I could probably heat the race and get it off the spindle and then polish the spindle but thought it would be easier to just replacing the axle and hubs. The measurement between the leaf springs center point is 59 1/2. Do you have any axles that I could use as a replacement? The tires are small they are a 4.80 - 12inch 5 bolt paten on the wheel. The worse case is that I polish the spindles and replace the existing hubs with new ones. Do you have any suggestions

We don't have any axles that will match exactly what you need but this is due to the fact that we don't carry every axle size available. So you'd need to find a local trailer shop to you who can order you new ones. They'll need the axle capacity, the dimension between the spring seats that you gave and the hub face to hub face dimension as well.

Or for an exact spindle replacement we have the Lippert part # LC142161 that you referenced. This might be an easier solution if the rest of the axle is good shape. But you'll need to find a welder with spindle install experience as the spindle has to install perfectly square and special jigs are required for this.

For a hub to match this spindle then with the same bolt pattern of 5 on 4-1/2 inches we have the # 8-258-50UC1-EZ.
