I have the perfect option for you to install a weight distribution system on your trailer with limited tounge space. This option consists of the Reese Pole-Tongue Adapter for Weight Distribution Systems part # RP58393 and a Reese Steadi-Flex Weight Distribution System. The reason that this is the perfect option for you is because the Reese Steadi-Flex Weight Distribution System unlike almost all other weight distribution systems will allow you to position the frame brackets up to 32" back from the center of the coupler. Therefore, you can install the Reese Pole-Tongue Adapter for Weight Distribution Systems directly behind the surge brake actuator and you won't have any issues at all.

In order to choose the correct Reese Steadi-Flex we need to find your total tongue weight which consists of the loaded ready to tow tongue weight of the trailer plus the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of your tow vehicle. I have attached the tongue weight ranges of the Reese Steadi-Flex for you below:

250 lbs to 400 lbs - part # 66557
400 lbs to 600 lbs - part # RP66558
500 lbs to 1,000 lbs - part # RP66559
600 lbs to 1,200 lbs - part # RP66560
700 lbs to 1,400 lbs - part # RP66561

The above weight distribution systems comes with everything you need save for a hitch ball, part # A-90 for 2" or part # 19286 for 2-5/16".
