Troubleshooting Power Connection to Jensen RV Stereo JMW60A
Question:
I have 12VDC Battery and 12VDC+ACC for the old unit and 12VDC switched and amp remote VDC 100 MA for the new unit. No matter what I hook up zero power extremely frustrating that no hook up diagrams can be found. these are the only power hook ups available. Thanks

The Jensen RV stereo # JWM60A that you referenced has a multi-pin connector for the various power and speaker connections. In the instructions, which I linked for you, the wiring diagram shows +12V power should connect to the RED wire for pin 15; the ground should connect to the BLACK wire for pin 16.
The BLUE remote trigger wire connects to pin 14. This requires a 100mA signal from another device to turn the unit on.
I attached a shot from the manual showing all of these pin assignments as well as the speaker connections.
If the stereo will not power up with these correct connections made you can test the wiring supplying the unit using a circuit tester like # PTW2992 to confirm 12V power is reaching the device. If not you may need to replace a fuse in the circuit that provides power.
As an option you could install a separate +12V power connection to your battery using a 10-amp fuse holder # SWC9538 and fuse (the appropriate rating for this Jensen unit).
