Wiring Lippert Electric Coach Step Replacement Control Module LC301702 to Porch Light on Coach
Question:
Where should the purple wire for the light switch be attached? Should it be attached to the brown wire going to the motor?

The purple wire on the Replacement Control Module for Lippert Electric Coach Step # LC301702 is intended to connect to the positive power wire for the coach's porch light, so it comes on when the step is activated. Unfortunately neither I nor my contact at Lippert has any way to look up that wire color for your 2011 Tiffin Allegro.
If you have a circuit tester like # PTW2992 you can try testing the wires on the coach until you find the one that delivers power to the porch light.
In a separate email I will forward some helpful installation documents from the folks at Lippert.
