Comparing the Timbrens and SumoSprings for a 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500
Question:
I am looking for something to help keep my truck from squatting so much when hauling a 30 ft travel trailer. Not wanting to use an air system . What would you recommend?

I have two options for you to help with squatting while towing with your 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. These two options are the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System part # TGMRCK15S and the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs part # SSR-209-40.
The main difference between the two is that the Timbrens are made of a much more dense rubber so they will provide more support but the adverse effect of this is that they could also decrease the loaded ride quality. The SumoSprings are made of a less dense rubber so they don't decrease the loaded ride quality as much as the Timbrens but this also means they will not offer as much support.
In summary, I recommend you use the Timbrens if you tow frequently whereas I recommend the SumoSprings if you tow infrequently. They are both very easy to install which you can see from the attached videos.
