Will Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution fit on 3 inch Wide Trailer Frame
Question:
Hi there, I have a vintage travel trailer with a 3inch C - Channel A-Frame. I would like to purchase a weight distribution anti-sway system. I was hoping to get one of the newer type systems without chains, but I dont see any that fit a 3inch trailer bracket. What would you suggest? I have a 2018 4Runner, pulling a 15ft 1968 Aloha Travel Trailer.

The Curt weight distribution system part # C17500 that you referenced can fit a trailer frame that is 3 inches tall or wide. It has max frame dimensions it fits of 6 inches of height and 4 inches in width. A C-channel that is 3 inches wide or tall wouldn't be a problem. For your trailer though this is probably rated too high as it has a tongue weight range of 800-1,500 lbs and you want the trailer's tongue weight to fall in the middle of the range.
Most likely the better fit would be the Curt TruTrack part # C17499 which has a tongue weight range of 500-800 lbs.
