If you just want to replace the trailer's 7-way blade-type wiring (but not all of its lights) you can do this most easily with a 7-way junction box like # e99011, which includes a 7-way plug and cord. Kit # HS381-9000 also includes the necessary butt connectors and ring terminals, and wire loom too, so this will be the easier option.
We also offer complete trailer breakaway systems, like the Hopkins Engager # 20099, that will activate your electric brakes in the event of an accidental disconnect. This is a complete kit with battery, battery box with charger, and breakaway switch.
To help you with the installation I linked a detailed article on trailer wiring and articles for breakaway kit installation and testing.
