For your 2018 Nissan Rogue I recommend the etrailer.com Class III Hitch # e98846 because it has the highest tongue weight capacity and features a unique matte black finish that provides a rugged look that won't show scratches.
This Class III hitch will install on your Rogue without the need for any drilling since it uses existing holes in the vehicle's frame. Its crosstube will also be hidden behind the rear bumper so the only thing that will be visible is the 2 inch receiver, keeping your new Rogue's factory appearance intact. It has a 3,500 pound towing weight capacity and a 525 pound tongue weight limit.
I have attached an installation video on your 2018 Nissan Rogue that you can also use for reference.
If you plan on doing any towing you will also need a trailer wiring harness for which I recommend the Tekonsha T-One # 118480. This will install by plugging right into the factory ports behind the tail lights on the driver and passenger side and running the hot lead up to the battery.
