Will MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent # MA00-06200K Fit With Current Roof Vent Flange
Question:
I would like to install a MaxxAir MA00-06200K in an existing vent. Will it attach to the existing vent flange or do I have to replace the existing flange with the new plastic one? Thank you!

The flange on the MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent # MA00-06200K you referenced measures 16-1/2" long x 16-1/2" wide. If your current flange has this same measurement then you could possibly just place it on your existing flange but there really is no way to know that without simply trying it.
If you check out the linked review video you can see that the flange that comes with this roof vent has 4 points where it attaches to the vent unit itself. The good news is that this unit comes with a replacement flange so if the roof vent doesn't work you don't have to order any extra parts.
Should you need to remove the flange and install the new one then you would also need some new hardware and sealant like what comes in the Installation Kit # 344270KITW.
