Recommended Trailer Hitches and Bike Rack for a 2018 Subaru Outback Wagon and Forester
Question:
I am looking for trailer hitches that fit our 2018 Outback and our 2018 Forester so that we can transfer a bike rack easily. We take either vehicle when we go bike riding and I just want to make it easier to load up the bikes.

I recommend going with the Class III Draw-Tite trailer hitches that have the hidden crosstube for your vehicles as they have a clean look, don't reduce the ground clearance of your vehicle by much, and provide you with a 2" receiver that can accommodate a wider variety of accessories. For your 2018 Subaru Forester this is part # 76182 but for your 2018 Subaru Outback Wagon it is part # 76227.
Attached are installation videos and sample photos of these on similar year vehicles.
If you don't already have a bike rack then I highly recommend the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 because it has integrated bike and rack locks, an integrated (no-tool) anti-rattle system, and is a platform style bike rack. All of this gives you a bike rack that is not only high quality but also allows you to quickly load up your bikes with little to no effort. The Sherpa 2.0 comes in 3 different color schemes; Gray # SH22G, Black # SH22B, and Pearl # SH22P. Simply choose which one fits best with your vehicle colors for a sleek look.
I have attached a review video of the Sherpa 2.0 for you to reference as well.
