How to Fit Kayak and Paddleboard Carrier on Roof of 2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek
Question:
I have a 2013 Crostrek. I have factory rails with a distance of about 35inch between the inside of the rails. I use a kayak and my wife uses a SUP. We would like to carry both on top of our Subaru Crosstrek. We currently have factory crossbars on the rails. Will the Thule SUP TAXI 810XT carrier and a Yakima J style kayak rack fit side by side on this vehicle?

The Thule SUP Taxi XT part # TH810001 is going to take up most of your 34 inches of crossbar width but the actual amount would vary depending on the width of your wife's paddleboard. Basically you'd have to install a longer crossbar setup on your 2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek like the Malone kit part # MPG201 which fits and gives you 50 inch long crossbars to fit this with a Yakima JayLow part # Y04073.
