Aero Roof Rack and Watersport & Bike Roof Carriers for 2019 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab

Question:

I will be using my 2019 Taco double cab mostly for work so I need the bed to remain clear for that. But we also plan on doing some tent camping and need to be able to transport our 2 kayaks or our 2-person canoe on the roof. sometimes one bike too. Taco roof is bare. So we need a roof rack that will handle the weight of two identical 48-lb kayaks or one 90-lb canoe, or two kayaks plus one pretty much standard mountain bike. Also need the kayak carriers. I know there are some that hold multiple boats but for easier loading I want two separate ones so each can be installed on the rack out near the sides of the truck where it will be easier to load them. A lot I know. Can you help us without breaking the bank?

For a cost-effective carrier that fits these aero bars and that can mount on their outsides for the easy access you're looking for I recommend the etrailer J-style kayak carrier # E98878. When you choose the canoe over the kayaks simply slip on the foam block canoe carrier # MPG152 from Malone. The blocks slip onto the Vortex bars and provide a nice cushioned ride for the canoe. You can position them anywhere on the bars just by sliding them to your preferred location. These lightweight blocks mean you do not use up rack weight capacity with a heavy carrier.
